How much does it cost to get started?

The investment depends on your experience and what equipment you already own.

If you already own professional audio equipment as a DJ, KJ, or entertainer, your primary investment is our Music Bingo In A Box™ Business System, which is $5,000.

If you’re starting completely from scratch, you’ll also need a sound system, laptop, microphone, display equipment, and other items. Most new operators should expect to invest approximately $3,500 or more in equipment, depending on the brands and features they choose.

One of the advantages of this business is that you control your startup costs. We’ll provide recommendations for equipment that is dependable and professional without encouraging you to spend more than necessary.


Do I need music or DJ experience?

No.

Many successful operators have never worked as a DJ or entertainer before. As an example, we had zero experience when we started!

The most important qualities are:

  • Enjoying people
  • Being dependable
  • Communicating well
  • Providing great customer service
  • Having the willingness to learn

We’ll teach you how to host a successful Music Bingo event. Your personality and professionalism are what help you build long-term relationships with venues and players.


How much time does this business require?

That depends on how quickly you’d like to grow your business.

There are three primary time commitments:

1. Initial Setup

You’ll spend time creating your music library and learning the software. During your training, we’ll show you the most efficient way to organize everything so you’ll be ready to host professional events. The good news is that once your playlists are created, they can be used again and again.

2. Building Your Business

Like any business, success depends on consistent marketing.

If you already have relationships with local venues, you may be able to begin booking events shortly after completing training.

If you’re starting from scratch, we’ll teach you proven strategies for approaching venues, building relationships, and developing recurring business.

3. Hosting Events

A typical Music Bingo event involves:

  • Preparing bingo cards
  • Traveling to the venue
  • Setting up equipment
  • Hosting approximately a two-hour event
  • Packing up and returning home

On average, many operators spend about six hours from start to finish for each event. On average, we work from 4pm to 10pm.


Is my area available?

In most cases, yes.

Every community has restaurants, breweries, clubs, retirement communities, churches, country clubs, and other organizations looking for quality entertainment.

Our goal isn’t to saturate a market. Instead, we help entrepreneurs build successful businesses by developing relationships with venues in their own communities.
